David Cottrell – Minister of Music
David Cottrell, married to Sandra
for thirty years, brings an eclectic
background to our music ministry. He
has a wide range of interests and
loves. Of the most important in his
life is his two children and a
special grandson named Elijah. He’s
passionate about his family, his
life and his music.
When asked to tell us something
about himself, we found he is a
rabid fan of “I Love Lucy” and plays
suduko. We already knew he
frequented garage sales and
collected coffee mugs.
We also need to tell you he can
consume food, especially desserts, a
la chocolate.
What David does not often tell you
is his drive to worship the Lord
through his music. He speaks to you
with passion of the Brooklyn
Tabernacle Choir but will tell you
his favorite hymn is “I See a
Crimson Stream of Blood”. His
favorite song or Christian artist
change daily – his passions run so
strong. David will impress you with
his “need” to worship and his
commitment to take the congregation
into the presence of the Lord. |
