Children's Pastors

Melba Mackey and her husband Ronnie have been married for 28 years and have spent their lives filling various roles in the church. Melba has taught Sunday School at every age level, led the women's ministries, and ministered to adults, youth and children. She adds to her experience a background of office administration, sales and marketing from a secular realm.

Melba brings personal experience to the Children's Pastorate. She and Ronnie have successfully reared two children, both now married and serving in this church. Melba says watching Rhonda and Michael teaching, Gary and Evajo serving and raising Gracie to love Jesus is the greatest joy in life. Gracie, first and only grandchild, always puts a sparkle in the day for Melba and Ronnie (aka Grammy and Poppie).

In an effort to have up-to-date programs and curriculum, Melba spends many hours in research for current material and activities. All this is to mentor and grow her "KIDS"
